biggest surprise upon moving
I arrived on STX 4 years ago, and my hubby still had to work three years in CA. I stayed with our three children.....and experienced the most amazing support from moms and other families...it actually made me uncomfortable at first. I kept wanting to know what they wanted in exchange. Turned out...nothing. The moms and families helped, because that had all been in my shoes before. I now open my arms to new families arriving, and offer honest advice. I was not breast feeding however. My children were well past that stage at 6th, 4th and 1st grade. So I cannot comment on that topic for the VI. E breasted in Tahoe, and had support there!!!
Hope your transition becomes easier, and you can enjoy our beautiful islands
I second the ants thing from AandA, I've bought donuts, brought them home and had it happen. Hell no these ants are not winning, blow on he donut, most of them go flying and eat it anyway. The donuts are too good from my little market here in STX
i dust the ants off ( hopefully all of them ) and eat away.
Typical, just another way of shucking self responsibility for someone's own actions by claiming the CHEAP booze made me do it, the Gun made me do it, the Porno made me do it.
I will also add here that most people that I know in the Islands don't even drink alcohol or smoke dope.
