Try a marine supply store. They are called "billets". They are used to construct floating docks. I've bought them before when I was building a dock, but it was in Cincinnati, so my source won't be of any help. Call and ask someone who builds docks locally where they buy their billets.

A lot of areas are starting to not allow there use(not enviormentally friendly)most are requiring new squared plastic container type dock supports,if thats what your building, might want to find out about your area before you invest in them.

I agree with Capnvinny - if you're looking for them for dock building, they eventually make a mess that never goes away - over time, they break apart into little pieces always floats on top of the water. I'd never recommend them for dock building. I used them only once several years ago, but I'm smarter about that stuff now and I'd never use them for dockage again. But if you are looking for them for some other purpose, hope you find them.

Thanks for the help, everyone.
Nope, not building a dock....building a display stand.

Thanks again!

Loyal Reader,
Pistarckle did some stones for a play out of large styrofoam blocks. Call Nicky and ask? Also say an ARts and Crafts sale in Island Trader today. I will be there Saturday and let you know if they have any.
