I want to send a BIG Halo to the guy who stopped on Melvin Evans Highway to help a dog this morning!
Poor thing was in the middle of the road in the westbound lane near Home Depot, looking dazed and possibly slightly hurt. This guy in a white truck in front of me pulled over to the side of the road, stepped out and walked over to the dog to help!!! I watched for as long as I could see, in the rear view mirror. I think the guy was able to get the dog and rescue it, because I didn't see the dog run away.
So I just wanted to give a shout out and thank him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are a message board reader, thank you! (tu) And let us know how things turned out.

islandjoan - That was a friend of ours and he did get the dog to the welfare center!! 🙂
