Looking forward to the festivities and am a great supporter of the Humane Society and similar endeavors. That said, why are there so many on island that have multiple dogs and refuse to keep them quiet at night! We moved to the island for the weather and like leaving our windows open at night (and saving on WAPA bills). But a night doesn't go by that we aren't awakened at least once or twice between 11 pm and 3 am by a loud chorus of barks and howls that continues for at least an hour. How can anyone sleep thru that and don't they care about their neighbors. Really inconsiderate! I know there isn't anything that can be done. Just venting and hoping some people might get the hint.
It's not an uncommon issue, unfortunately.

I think you're on STX and this is on STT.
