I hope to relocate to the beautiful Virgin Islands - been to St. Croix a couple of times and absolutely fell in love with it. Have not visited the other islands but know that they are just as beautiful. I currently work for a MAJOR U S Bank and have extensive banking/financial/legal experience. If anyone knows of any positions or companies, please let me know.

This will be greatly appreciated.

Do the banks have to follow EDC regulations? If so, finding a position in banking may be difficult, due to the percentage of locals they are required to hire. I don't have any personal knowlge of this. Anyone else?

I know there is two leading banks back home. First one is Banco Popular PR and First Bank. Banco Popular 's website is www.bancopopular.com and you gotta select Puerto Rico English and click on English. Once you reach to that page, then there is a careers link on the page and you can apply for job there. Also, there is First Bank, www.firstbankpr.com. But there isn't no career link on the page to apply for jobs. The reason I am familiar is because I will be moving around next year june and I currently work for Banco Popular North America and I do plan on working for the Banco Popular PR once I move back home.

Hello Randy,

You might also look in the yellow pages www.viphonebook.com for a list of banks... so you can call their human resources dept. and inquire about openings/fax your resume... there is also Scotia Bank and a few other financial services.
