I have 2 stateside accounts and can transfer online so that funds are available immediately.
Just curious if anyone that has a stateside account and a VI account know on average how long transfers take? I am assuming it takes a couple of business days?

It depends. I use banco popular and have had wire transfers available within 24 hrs. They do charge a $15 transaction fee. I have friends that have had it take much longer but my experiences have been good.

Are we talking strictly about "Wire Transfers" or just everyday online banking transfers?
Up until recently, we used to transfer money from Bank of STX and Banco Pop to our son's account in Canada and it was instantaneous...no delay or waiting period.

It depends on your banks and whether or not they have a affiliation. I routinely transfer money from my stateside account at Chase Bank to my island account at Scotia Bank (funds available within 24 hours) and don't pay any fees (on either end).
