We just had our second get together of the island (unoffical) club. Annie and I, Beth and Tabra, and our new freinds Kelly and Ava. We met for drinks and Mexican food, and shared our wishes about the USVI.
I think we will hate Kelly and Ava out of envy because they only have 356 days until they move there, and we have 5 years. LOL!!!
Seriously they were very nice people, and we had a nice visit. Ava is from STT, so she can throw in a different perspective, not just the dream one.
Our next get together will be with Beth and Tabra at the STX message board party the 21 of August, we are all looking forward to that.
It's nice having someone to talk to, as our friends are already tired of hearing about the USVI. LOL!!!
If there is anyone else out there from the Phoenix area, let us know.

Hi Terry,
I guess I can say I'm from Phoenix also, since I lived there for over 10 years. We had a similar group meet in KC a couple of months ago. It is nice to meet neighbors that have the same island goals and share your dreams. Since then I have relocated to STT and am having a blast. Hang in there as time will fly, and who knows, things may change and you can get here sooner. Until then, stay on the board and come visit as often as possible. Oh, and since it is summer there, fry an egg on the hood of your car for me... LOL!

Let us know when the next one is and maybe we can send you some "island decorations" for the party - coconuts, sand, rum? Pamela

I just wanted to say what a wonderful time Ava and I had Friday night. It was great getting together with like minded people. And I wanted to say thank you again to Terry for dinner. Hope you guys have a great trip to STX next month. I look forward to hearing all about it!

I have to admit, the best part of the meeting was when Annie said, "Just think, the next time we see each other, it will be at the St. Croix get together." 🙂
Thanks again, Terry. It is great to meet other island-minded folks. And it was especially nice to get the practical side of everything from Ava who is from St. Thomas. She helped us stay focused without bringing us down. It was a great time all around.
