Has anyone had any luck with their stateside extended warranty company covering in the USVI? I am assuming the local dealerships offer some kind of warranty with purchase. Any idea on which extended warranty companies offer a warranty or sell warranties to USVI customers?

Did u happen to get an answer on this? Currently buying a used jeep and want an extended warranty if possible.

Welcome to the forum!
You would need to contact any companies you are considering purchasing an extended warranty from and ask them to send you the coverage information in writing before giving them money.
If you do find someone that provides the warranties here, please return and update the thread so that others can benefit from your efforts.

@rewired yeah did that here stateside no one covers
...however....one thing to think about there is a Chrysler and a Honda dealership on island. Hypothetical: ex. Say I was going to purchase a older Jeep Wrangler, Mopar - holds warranties for Chrysler and could purchase an extended warranty through them and I could in essence have all repairs done at that dealership.

There's a Jeep dealer mid-island, if I'm not mistaken.
How old of a model the warranty would be available for purchase would be a good question.

@rewired that would vary just as it would stateside I imagine. I was looking at a 2009. I stopped as it became more of a hassle to find a car and ship. I am going to use the true VI method word of mouth to get a car.

When we bought our home we shipped down a 2019 Jeep Cherokee and the STX Jeep dealer did honor the warranty. I would ask the dealer if they sell an extended warranty or maintenance plan.
