Looking for a reliable auto broker who can broker shipping from US mainland and handle the fees, customs, registration etc once it arrives in St Thomas.

I generally do the shipping part myself and use Boynes Trucking for the clearing and road ready once it arrives. Although Tropical shipping tends to be the most expensive, they are usually the fastest (which is more important to me) for ocean freight. And if I need a good amount of inland shipping I go with Lotus Transport.

I've shipped a few over the years. Trying Top of the Line (Andre) at someone's recommendation. Out of the gate he's $1500 less expensive than anyone else for a full size truck. And more responsive than my prior go-to. Including 1500 miles of highway move to FL.

As a follow up for the next guy…
Got two quotes from Top of the Line for shipping a small suv and a truck, both in the $3400 to $3500 range…includes inland transport from Massachusetts and handling details like registration in St Thomas. Same day response via email and a follow up phone call. Impressive!
Also called USAA insurance and found very comparable rates to my current auto insurance rates for both. Understand USAA is the only mainland auto insurance USVI accepts.
Will also get competing bids.
@vicanuck can you verify the name of St Thomas Cargo? Several shippers use that as a description. Is it also called blue ocean transport for ex?

As a follow up..used St Thomas Cargo for shipping truck, household goods and building supplies. Can highly recommend. All delivered as promised with a scratch.
