The Police have at least one here on STT, but they may be an exception...check with the BMV: http://usvibmv.org/

But, since our roads are all paved, you may find that you are going thru tires rather quickly...unless you can find street tires to fit...not many places off road here to drive...especially not the beaches!

You atv would fall into one of our many crater size pot holes and disappear forever. Most atv's are not street legal stateside, usually only in the country. I don't think they would let you use it here like you would a car either. While we are less developed the island is pretty much one big town.

well, we would certaily not drive ou ATV to work but could we like go explore the rain forest?

Would you be living in the rain forest? I also think many people would have a problem with big loud machines trampline through the vegetation and upseting the wild life. But there is a ATV excursion group that operates out of f'sted you should look them up and give them a call.
