Arts & Crafts / Classes - STT
Hi, Wondering if anyone can tell me of a good arts & crafts store in St. Thomas? Also, any classes for kids or adults in St. Thomas?
Thanks!
You're lucky if there's ANY crafts store, let alone a GOOD one. There's no Michael's equivalent if that's what you're looking for.
Don't know what types of crafts you're interested in, but there are some craft supplies at Rose's Crafts behind Pizza Hut on the Waterfront. You can also get some craft things at The Fabric Store on Goat St. Office Max has some things that can be used for crafts. Sometimes Cash and Carry does, too.
Crafts classes are hard to come by unless they're part of say, Boys and Girls Club or some other non-profit group. Very few people have disposable income for craft classes.
I heard you can take a pottery class at Tillett's. There are plaster sand creation sessions at Sugar Bay, I've heard. Somebody offers sewing classes, but I haven't seen her ad in a while, and can't remember her name.
Check with Seven Minus Seven Art Gallery in sub-base. They've offered classes from time to time.
Those are all the options I can think of right now.

Thank you all! Will look into the helpful suggestions.
If you're at all interested in scrapbooking, I'm a Close To My Heart consultant. You can order from my site, and I also offer Workshops On The Go occasionally which I would be happy to send you through the mail. They consist of all the material and instructions needed to create one 2-page layout or 6 cards. Let me know if you're interested!
