I’m just curious, Today, I noticed a price for gas at a local gas station was lower than I’ve seen in years, around a buck and a half a gallon, ($1.50) I hope the effects of lower oil prices are showing up at the gas stations of the USVI?

It went down on St Thomas to 2.6x the other day. Had been 2.8x the other week.

That is a fairly good price difference - do you remember where the $2.6x was located.?

Giant Gas and the one up the street from it. Noticed it yesterday. Will post again tomorrow early to confirm just in case I made a mistake.

WTF?! STJ is holding steady at $3.27/$3.29 at our two stations. Can't remember the last time I saw them any higher/lower.

Heck, that's less than where I've been in FL.
Lowest price I've seen is $2.02 with the average around $2.07.

A day or two ago I saw $1.96. Think it was the station on the corner of Northside Road and Midland Road.

I won't feel guilty about driving all the way out to Hams Bay... just to go surfing.
Thank you Mr. Abdallah!

Wish our STT prices would go down!
Y'all enjoy the low prices on STX!
I'm jealous!

Just give up what, 10 acres(?) to a large rusting away oil refinery (don't forget to add in a dash of 5 years of anticipation of it actually fully opening up).

and BAM! you have cheap gas (and still no economy).

You'd trade your 8 cruse ships a day for cheap gas?

I'd happily share our cruise ships if it was possible.
It's just as expensive here as there, less your great gas prices.
We're basically all on the same sinking ship.
STT has so many businesses that have closed and/or are struggling to make ends meet with our short season. We have the same infrastructure issues, terrible roads, unsightly trash, and other issues hat STX has.
Happy that, at least, you pay less for something!
