hey, me and a buddy are going to be moving to st croix in the fall for school for a semister and to have a good time. We are having trouble finding a 2 bedroom apartment/. All we can find online are vacation rentals. Any suggestions? Prefereable we'd like something with some utilities included and somewhat furnished so we dont have to buy all our stuff. also need to get a vehicle.

There are quite a few 2-BDR condos and apartments available for rent on St. Croix. Most can be found through property managers or through the local paper. The rest are advertised through word of mouth. If you want to arrive on STX with an apartment already arranged, you will most likely need to find something through a property manager. Owner/landlords who book their own tenants almost always insist on meeting applicants in person before accepting them as tenants.
Nearly all rentals on STX come mostly furnished and equipped. Some include full utilities and others may include some utilities but not others.
"Island cars" can often be found for $2K-$3K and would get you around for the short time you expect to be here.
