I have some items I wanted to sell on ebay, but I am having a very difficult time getting "authorized". Over the past 3 months, I have continually called ebay to get assistance. Originally, they tried to tell me that I couldn't sell unless I was going to sell as an International Seller. (I only want to ship and sell to US.) Then, they told me my phone # was a problem because I do not have a land line. The number of reasons that they have told me just continues to increase.
So....
Is there anyone that is selling from the US Virgin Islands? ...using a VI address? ...using only a cell phone #? ...using only a VI bank account?

I haven't advertised anything for a few months but had no problem setting up an account with my local address and local bank account. I do have a landline so maybe that's the issue?

I have been selling on Ebay, and have not encountered any of the issues you have been dealing with. I have months where I sell 300+ items, and have no issues.
I will mention this: when I first moved to STX, I had my bank account with First Bank. That gave me problems, as that bank was based out of Puerto Rico. I then moved my account to Bank of STX, as they are based out of Miami. This stopped all the issues that were beginning to arise, though most of those issues were with PayPal.
