Hey gang,
One of my favorite shows is coming back the day after the superbowl with a 3-D special episode, and short of finding a cereal box with 3-D glasses in it, I'm clueless.
Anyone know where I might find some of those glasses on island?

you could look on ebay, i know not on island but dont know where else you would find one unless you can go to that new 3d movie something about valentine- dont know when its coming out

The new Journey to the Center of the Earth movie starring Brendan Frasier had 3-D glasses in with the DVD. Good chance that Kmart has a copy of the movie.

I just got Shrek 3-D and it came with 4 pair of glasses...PM me if You would like to borrow them...key word: BORROW! Haha!

Well the show I talked about advertised an 800 number to call and order glasses, so I did. I was told they should get here in two weeks, although she had the standard troubles of not finding our zip code and wondering where the VI was. So if they don't get here in time I might take you up on that borrowing offer Marty.

When shopping at our local stateside Kmart store they had a display of free 3D sunglasses for some kind of a promotion. I would think that it is a promotion linked with Kmart and that they might be available on island.
Too funny, they even have a warning posted on the glasses.
Warning: Not for extended wear, performing physical activity, driving or operating machinery. These are not sunglasses.

Sorry, I was too preoccupied by the silly warning for morons. It says on the glasses to tune in to NBC at 2nd quarter on 3/1/09. Must be part of the Super Bowl half time show. If they are not available on island let me know, they have a boat load of them 4 to a sheet up here. If you can organize one person per island to receive and distribute them I'll even cover the shipping for my fellow islanders.
I hope that I can call you fellow islanders. I think that I'm currently on one of the longest PM moves in island history. We bought a place 2 years ago but currently rent out the main portion of our place and keep the studio for our frequent visits. Only 7 more years to go until our 10 year old graduates high school. Bummer, I left STT on Monday and the weather prediction for Iowa is 30 below with the wind chill, they even let out school early and cancelled all weekend activities. Looks like I'm home bound for the weekend, my husband broke his foot so I am on firewood duty too. So while all of you are glowing and sun kissed I'll be freezing and wind burnt.
