Anyone hear when 2010 and 2011 tax bills will be coming out?

sometime in Feb, but the 2010 was done last time, this is 2011 coming up

I called the tax assessor's office yesterday asking that very question.

The lady told me that the 2011 property tax bills would be sent out by the end of this month, and that the 2012 bills would also go out sometime this year (she couldn't tell me when that would be).

I asked her if there would be a notice to the public in the newspaper and she said yes. Considering that this month ends tomorrow, they appear to be a bit behind schedule.

The 2012 will probably come out in June as thy usually do and you'll have until end of Aug. to pay or become delinquent.
Not anxious to plop money out to Government for property taxes when we get so little in return except for all the haphazard zoning.

Any news on 2011 property tax bills? Not that I'm anxious to pay, just don't want to miss the discount period.

The 2011 property tax bills will go out by the end of February and 2012 bills will go out in July.
