I am in Ohio and my partner is in Fred'sted. Lost cell phone service last night at 9pm. No word from her since. Anyone got any news?

Frederiksted has many trees down and no power, but it looks much better today than I anticipated. The police were out patrolling the streets this morning, checking on down power lines. I saw a few telephone/cable lines down but no down power lines. The surge was not as bad as expected, probably only 2-3 feet.

Sprint cell phones have service right now, but I can't get a signal for AT&T.

Just spoke with a friend on the edge of F'sted with sprint service. She said there are some branches down but all in all things look pretty good. Curfew is till 11 then she can venture out.

I just heard from my friend in F'sted, too. So, Sprint is working. She said everyone is safe and she will let me know more about any damage after curfew.

I have both Centennial and ATT and they are both working, along with Sprint, I have no idea which can be down unless the tower is down in that area.
