Any suggestions for a financial professional?

Hi All and good afternoon!

I was just uploading my resume/CV to the site and thought to myself..Why not ask a quick question on the board and see if anything turns up? I'm a 39 year old Financial Professional with mostly trading experience in both Chicago and New York. I was an open-outcry market-maker in the pits for years, then eventually transitioned to an office environment where I became expert in Financial software implementation and "upstairs" trading.( I primarily traded derivatives of commodities and equity indexes.)
I have done quite a bit of research on these boards and countless other places and know that there is a trading/hedge fund/financial community in the islands (I'll be on STT as of 9/28/11). I'm wondering if anyone that reads these boards has any connections to this type of thing and, if so, would you have any suggestions as to how I could connect with them? While I'd be lying if I said I wasn't, to some degree, looking for future employment, it would also just be nice to connect with folks that share a similar interest in a new and exciting place for me
