Wondering if there are any fellow psychotherapists or mental health professionals moving here or already here. Would like to find a network of people in the field. I have been in St. Croix for one month and researching jobs, but have not found a match for me yet. It seems as if there is a need for a community mental health facility, but not sure where to begin in creating one or what attempts to improve the existing one have happened. Any info or interest is appreciated.

I know there is a psychology board- maybe Tom Tyne is in charge? Not sure, but would think it is under Health. Don't leave out talking to St Thomians, as there seems to be a lot of cross over because of the needs.

I am a LCSW who has been here for 10-months. I received my USVI license in April. I would be glad to exchange any info I have. I think I tried contacting you while you were still in NY but possibly my message was lost. I, too, am a New Yorker. Good luck.
