Just letting all of you know that American Airlines www.aa.com is running an awesome Carribean sale...
If you've had the thought to go visit your ultimate destination for a week, the prices seem really good.
468 roundtrip out of Detroit to StX isn't a bad investment into the future. Maybe more affordable to take a quick island survey trip than you think
From home page click on NetsAAver, than look for the Carribean Sale. It has reduced airfare for all the cities AA, American Eagle flies out of to just about all the islands.

Great find, Eve! Would you believe there are no flights directly out of either DC airport going to STT or STX? Found that out after clicking through a bazillion pages! (Why don't more web designers make it easier to get to the end of a list that long?)
Did find a fare from Baltimore for $358, which is great. Am talking to the spouse about switching our premove visit from July to Memorial Day to take advantage of this sale.

No kidding on that.
Toledo express is closer and probably on the list but Detroit was first on the bazillion list. Mark and I just decided we are both going to StX from 05Apr through 09Apr
On AA two can fly for the price of one compared to a 1300 dollar ticket through the other airline offerings right now.

Good deal....but I learned one thing trying to find the departure city of a friend...I would not want to be the person designing that website, it is utter madness - to input all those cities and the respective fares......no thanks.
Good original post....but in truth, I gave up trying to find my cousins departure city of Daytona Beach, oh well, I'll let her look.

Did you all notice the FINE PRINT:
"International and Puerto Rico/Virgin Island fares do not include government taxes and fees of up to $125 per round trip."
