I remember reading a few years ago about a proposed memorial of some sorts fir Christiansted. Googled and didn't see mention of one.
Status? CBS Sunday Morning is doing a story about him next Sunday. Went to his NY home, and exhibit was fascinating. Hope they mention St Croix!

Sigh. Now I have to spend time finding the info. I think it was 2 years ago that proposals were raised to create some type of memorial. The previous delegate to congress may have proposed it. Will check with library this week.
Maybe the Avis has info. Will check with them, too, but they don't publish online.
