Whoops, not accurate. The cruise ship passed by. But, another tanker is now at its side and several other smaller ships are in the area.

Hi Jules,
We're really enjoying this mystery! We even discussed it in depth with extended family during our Easter gathering! ha ha! We were all hoping that it was a salvage ship pulling up sunken treasure!
Have a great day and keep us posted! =)

Maybe it was Kevin Costner doing a sequel to Waterworld. 😉

Quick question. We're scheduled for two weeks end of June. Strange things seem to be happening very quickly. Given the fact that the Iranians have a navy and are working on nukes, do you think I might be over reacting by canceling my trip.

I mean who would have thought that the storming of Charlotte Amalie might be the start of a World War.

/promoguy to starship come in.

You would certainly be overreacting if you cancelled your trip but given that the Iranians have a navy and are working on nukes, it would be prudent to bring plenty of meat with you!

Given no updates as of this post, must assume that Jules went out there on a private vessel, was hoisted aboard and, and and and,,,

Jules got her answer in today's paper. It's a tanker waiting for it's next assignment. That's all.

I hadn't thought of that!!!! Ronnie if we don't show, I'll just send the steaks via USPS Priority. You can cook them yourself.

I know to people on a small island this sighting of a "Navy ship" is very exciting. Be aware that all types of people have access to the information your posts, these people may or may not have good intentions. Please remember what happened to the Cole and all of the service members who died or were injured that day. I know this seems petty but the old Navy phrase "loose lips sink ships" definitely applied here, Operational Security is everyones' responsibility.

Loose lips sink ships? Yes in the Persian Gulf, The Med, Korean Peninsula, off the Horn of Africa, BUT hardly at the mouth of the harbor to Charlotte Amalie.

But then again, I've been wrong before.

Ok -3 pages of drivel about a sodding tanker taking a nap on the high seas - enough....enough, I cry, enough.
Off with their heads.

Oh Scott, it's not a bloody Navy ship, it's a bloody great big tanker. This drama is too much for me. Promoguy, bring some Valium with you (to share)!!!!!

In deference to "Operational Security," I'm shoving off from the tip of the Peterborg peninsula at midnight and rowing out to the ship under cover of darkness to see what's what.

Ba’adan mibinamet!

Okay, it's a tanker. That is what they used in Waterworld, isn't it? So I win, I was the closest. Maybe Kevin Costner is over there. He could take a helicopter to his house over on Lovango every night after the filming.

LOL 😀
