A ton and a half of Cocaine seized!?
WHOA. That's a lot. Last week I guess, I gotta read the paper more.

Jeebus, that's a big bust.
Somebody's gonna be mad.(tu)
A drop in the bucket.
I gotta read the paper more.
Quite a bit of misinformation posted on this and other local forums would be scuttled if people really did read the local newspapers every day. 😀

Hmm... so your saying the "news"paper is a good source of reliable unbiased information?
Strange, my generation seems to not feel that way at all; in fact I'd rather not be spoon fed information from 6 corporations (or are there fewer than that owning all the major (and most the minor) news outlets in the world now?)
Remember, there are WMD's in Iraq (I read that in the newspaper) and the virgin islands should be under water due to global warming & rising sea levels by now (also read that back in 05 or so....)

Hmm ... no, I didn't say that. I do find, though, that people who retort with that sort of comment tend to wrongly assume that those who do read newspapers (local or national/international) believe everything they read and are incapable of information-gathering from many different sources.

so while it has "sir" in the saying it's not meant to infer gender
Sounds like a wicked googly to me. 😎

haha, are there even bowling alleys here?
There is a cricket pitch in Estate St. John.
Not that this has anything at all to do with the seizing of cocaine.
Except maybe that the traditional uniforms are white. 😎
STX has a very nice little bowling alley.
