I've got a car that if no when wants to salvage I will have to junk. I'm leaving island am curious to what the process is for junking a car. Are there yards that will buy them or is there a fee to get it junked? Any help appreciated thanks.

1999 Chrysler Town and Country, it ran fine and the other day it stoped running, has some turn over and clicks when trying to start, could be something simple like battery or starter, not sure, just don't want to drop money into because I'll be leaving island in 2 weeks.

I got a couple hundred bucks at Frank's Garage over by Cruzan Rum for an older little car with an engine on its last legs (bad rod).

About a half mile East of the Pickled Greek restaurant on the right side of the road is a junkyard which bought our old car. It is across the street from a gas station on the East End road. You can't miss it.
