She's a 35 year old woman who has a kid.

She was 24 when she visited STT, then it took 10 years to move - she's been on island for at least a year.

Did you just look at the pictures?

Ramblings of the 26 yo airhead. Enthusiastic one for sure. She can't see past her nose yet.

I thought she was 26 when she posted this blog. The pics would collaborate that. If I memorized the timeline correctly she visited at 24, returned to Chicago, divorced her husband and 2 years later moved to stt.

I am amazed by these millennial s blogs. They start like this:

I spent all this time and money for collage. I had this great corporate job in Manhattan making $150K per year but the pressure of work, the Tinder grind and consumption was getting to me. So I discovered VI and its great. I got this job as a dishwasher at the restaurant for $10 cash per hour and it's great. Had to learn Patouis so I can talk to Antoin who is my boss. I get to smoke herbs every night to deter mosquitos and soon will be promoted to be a waiter. We have 365 days of sunshine here unless it rains. People are great here. The laugh a lot. Everybody is so nice and there is a real sense of community. I love it. I will never grow up.

So true except most of the blogs I've read, they don't seem to have to work once they leave their high paying corporate job. They just take naps and then jet off to other vacation destinations every other week.
Must be nice. Yes, I'm jealous lol ????

*over here trying to save just so i can move to the VI* lol

Her June 20, 2017 entry is about being 40. And there are lots of people in the world who have money and don't have to work like some of us do. Don't be jealous, you all.

Here's one of my favorite blogs. Really cool people (who I have never met)

Island Living STX

I came across this blog when Theresa posted about her experience with chikunguyna, and I remember some on this forum chastised her for not getting tested for the virus sooner. After reading about her horrible experience (which was also clinically helpful to anyone going thru the same) I read the rest of her blog.

Here is the chikunguyna section:

Chikunguyna nightmare
