20 Something's Hang out?
Where do all the 20 something's hang out on STT? Is there a popular place where people meet/hang-out or even live? Im 24 and will be moving down in the spring sometime and looking for a good spot to meet some people my age to have some fun with.

Try Shipwreck over near Havensite....
There isn't really any place where the "twentysomethings" hang out. Here isn't like in the States where age matters. Everyone hangs out wherever they feel comfortable. You could be in a place with a 70 year old man dancing away, or in a place with an 18 year old complaining about politics. Try hitting places like The Shipwreck Tavern, the Rum Shack, GreenHouse, Hard Rock Cafe, Happy Buzzard, Duffy's Love Shack, Paradise Point on Wednesday nights...jeez, the list could be very long! Haha! Can you describe what you're looking for better? There are some really cool little holes in the wall, too! And some cool marina bars, like Pirate's Cove or Bottoms Up.
Describe what im looking for better? What else is there TO explain?
I just wanted to know what (if any) are some good places are to meet people my own age and hang out with. I understand one can have fun with anyone of any age,but that's not really want im looking for at this point.
Wht else to explain? Like if you are looking for a drinking place, a dancing place, a pick-up joint, a big place, a small place, a place for tourists, a place for locals, a beach bar , a bar with a view, etc..
As I said, this island is not like it is in the States where the ages become separated by choice. There are no places where only the 20 year olds hangout. No place where only the 40 year olds hang out. This place is like a melting pot. You see people of all ages in all places.
Hello Kandi,
You will find a lot of your age group (and as mentioned other age groups too) at Betsy's Bar, Stereo, Greenhouse, Tommy's, Duffy's, Shipwreck. There aren't a whole lot of nightspots but those are popular among all and particular for younger folks. There are different nights like Greenhouse has Two for Tuesdays so is busy then - things like that, once you hang out a couple nights and meet others you will find out what nights are happening where. Iggies at Bolongo Bay was popular for a while with beach volleyball - not sure if it still is; but its a fun bar/restaurant. And Sapphire on Sunday afternoons has a live band so is also another option. Head over to St. John a couple evenings and go to Woody's for happy hour, usually a good bit of young folks hanging out there too.
