One thing that almost all can agree on, there are days that when you look around that the natural beauty of these islands is intoxicating. Some days the people that are in my path, local and transplants are amazing. I have seen more random acts of kindness and understanding in my years here than anywhere I've been. I think the islands have a magnetic appeal to many. However after making it your home, The coming 60 months will teach you more about your own nature and that of others than you would have ever known if you had not taken the chance. If at any point you feel that it is more than can be dealt with, you can always go back too what you left. At least you lived your dream for however long it lasted. Could be 3 months or maybe the rest of your life.

To those of u who read the comparison to Westfield, MA... IGNORE IT ALL!!!

As a former, what we like to call ourselves, Masshole & Westfield, MA resident and alumni of Westfield State College, I can tell you this guy's comparisons are like trying to compare a moped to a Porsche.

Yes, they will both get u from point A to point B but other than that they r completely different. Westfield is a TOTALLY different culture that is a predominantly middle/upper class college town.

I bet she is hilarious, this place is full of characters. Spoiled people that are all uptight usually don't live here that long. Not as a transplant anyway.

My comparison was my life's experience. I grew up in Westfield from when I was born until I was 11. I moved to STT in the USVI when I was 11, spent 6 years going to school there from middle school to high school, and lived there until I was almost 21.

My observations of the crime, schools condition, political condition, and general corruption stands, as if anything it has become worse.

This is my experience. Not your choice to decide what others read, so take it or leave it, but I won't shut up.

I'm going to add to that.

It is true that it is a comparison of a moped to a Porsche. The islands are the Porsche, and Westfield is the moped. You probably won't get into a deadly crash with a moped, but with a Porsche.. well... I could post pictures of that poor girl who was nearly decapitated in her dad's convertible Carrera racing it on the highway...

The islands are great. It can be a dazzling lifestyle. I would suggest moving there if you are fully aware of what you are moving into. Like I have said before and I am sure I will say again, if I had one word to describe the islands, it would be "Enchanting".

Umm... That's it NoOne, keep arguing with yourself trying to prove..... Heck I don't even know what you're trying to prove. Take your user name as a sign. "No One" is listing to you anymore.

PEACE 🙂
