Tree Planting to Enhance Habitat for Endangered Lizards

Saturday, May 28, 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Bring you favorite digging tool and join SEA and V.I. Division of Fish & Wildlife staff to plant trees that will improve habitat for the endangered St. Croix Ground Lizard. Wildlife biologists Renata Platenberg and Jennifer Valiulis will share their knowledge of this endemic reptile. Wear sturdy shoes, hats and gloves. SEA will provide drinking water and light refreshments. Please call SEA to register for this activity - 773-1989.
Trees donated by the VI Department of Agriculture, and the project is supported by USFWS Endangered Species Recovery Grant VI-E-7-R.
