Surfing?

There are some spots on the north side of the island (Hull Bay). However, the surf is infrequent. Winter months give you the best shot at finding waves. Tortola (BVI) offers better waves.

We are surfers too. Hull Bay has nice waves out between Hull Bay and Inner Brass Islands. Josias's Bay on Tortola has AWESOME waves. We have also seen people surf at Capoon's Bay in front of Bomba's. We have also seen surf ersout between either Grass Cay and Mingo Cay or between Mingo Cay and Lovango Cay. Not sure between which two. That was our first trip to the Caribbean and we weren't as familiar with the names of the islands. We were at Hull Bay last July and the people that rent boards at Hull Bay said it had been so long since they had had any surf they took all their rental boards home. Just like any other place the conditions have to be right. Around the Caribbean that is usually the Winter months.
