I think I already plugged the Reichhold season to you all but i just wanted to send another note...
The up-coming season is amazing!
Savion Glover (tapping genius. his bway show was awesome and I imagine this show will be too)
Angelique Kidjo (amazing and energetic singer from Benin by way of France who I have seen like three times. You will not be able to sit thru it!)
Morgan Heritage (reggae..saw them in the BVI and they were great)
and for the kiddies...
Russian Kids Circus (think contortionists, need I say more)
Step Afrika (not just for the kiddies, but they will love the stepping rhythmic feet inspired by South Africa and seen on HBCU campuses)
and for those who want to flash back...
yes, there is Kool and the Gang. 😉
Of course the Qudarille show returns and chamber music (i think) from the PR symphony.

OMG!
How could I forget Alvin Ailey Dance Co.!!
I will be off-island but if not I would absolutely be there!
And for those who like the twinkling of the jazz-inspired ivories, McCoy Tyner is supposed to be good. Anyone familiar with his music? The website shows he played with John Coltrane which is probably the best recommendation you can get.

Just saw this post and was wondering if you could tell me when is Alvin Ailey here? I saw them in KC and they are amazing and would LOVE to see them again. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Alvin Ailey is May 12 at 8pm.
We had to wait for two months before our tickets were issued, so if you plan on going get them now!
