I have missed out on the last two get-togethers and really want to make the next one. There was a vote for Pirate's Cove as a place to get-together. Islander - could we make it happen? Prices on food are very reasonable and maybe we could make the 4-6 happy hour. I am looking for an excuse for a nice frozen drink with friends! Anyone else in?

Hello All,
I bet no one even knew that I haven't been on the board for a while! 😉 How does Saturday February 26th sound to everyone? We could make it an early evening at around 5:00? I am just throwing it out for everyone to let me know if it works or doesn't. As Islander has said before - this is a get together for anyone interested in meeting people on the island. You can just be vacationing or moving here or living here and come to the get together. A few of us have found it to be so fun and enjoyable that we have tried to do it every month. Just post on this thread if you are interested and if there are only specific days that work for you. We will try to work with everyone's schedules as much as possible. There are many 'regulars' on the board that I would love to catch up with - so I hope to see you all there!

That works for me. I have to go look at a yacht (sounds fancy doesn't it) which is having an open house from 5 - 7 so I'll be a little late but count me in. Hubby? I won't know until Saturday how he is feeling. We sort of go day by day lately.

Hey LR, we have 8 adults and our baby so far. I didn't post on the travel board so I will do that and see if we have any more. Do you know if there is entertainment that night? They had a band one night that we were there and I have forgotten the name, but they were really good.
Everyone invited! Saturday February 26th at 5:00 p.m. at Pirates Cove Bar and Grill. I have the following so far:

I've contacted the folks at Pirate's Cove requesting "reservations"- will ask them to hold a table for 8, then we can add as more people want to join us.
I bet Tejas Tom can be convinced to wander down- I'll talk to him and his +1.
Keep me posted on numbers- looking forward to seeing everyone!

The 'reservations' sound fine. I am sure it won't be any big deal at all to add more people. In fact I have two more to add for sure. Larry and Tim (you met both at the get together at Iggie's). Can't wait! I will enjoy seeing everyone again.
Hey Ronnie, Island Paul, Ansen, and others - you putting in an appearance? 😉 Ansen, Jeff, Islander we don't expect you to buy drinks so don't be afraid to come by!

Hello Teresa,
Ansen is running the 8 Tuff Miles on St. John in the morning on Saturday and then working in the afternoon. He is going to try and drop by, it would be after 6pm.
What time are you guys going to be there until?
The rest of us can not make it this time. 🙁
And you know, 'Islander' doesn't attend 😉

Ah, the illusive Islander. Chris and I will order our food after 6. We want to sit back and enjoy a few drinks first. So we will be there a while. We be on island time. 😉 We will miss you Ronnie, see you next time!

Thanks again for organizing- it was a great group, and we had fun!
Ansen was indeed there after the 8 Tuff Miles- what a guy! 😉 Great to see you all!
Anybody up for a "regular" get-together? Maybe a weeknight (Tues? Weds?) - once a month? That way, people would know that the GTG was, say, the first Weds of every month- and the location could either be fixed or changing.
Thoughts?
Really do enjoy seeing and conversing with everyone!
