I am contemplating a move to the VI and was curious about musical opportunities on the islands (probably STT).
I studied classical voice for a period of time and since have contributed to various church choirs and oratorios. I understand that their is the Caribbean Choral. Is the club open for anyone to join? Do they ever preform with an orchestra? How diverse is the repertoire? Who is the music director?
Are there any other musical outlets, or stage productions performed by those living on the islands?
As far as church music is concerned, which choirs have a strong reputation?
How about voice and/or piano lessons or music programs? Is it possible to purchase or have access to a piano?
Any and all information is appreciated.
