Island Center is seeking talented students in the performing arts to enroll in their "One On One" program for the talented. As the name suggest they are offering instructions in music, voice, and instruments to students that exhibit exceptional talent in their chosen instrument or music. The time will be flexible and arranged between students and teachers. If you know of any such student please contact Dr. Petersen (690-0617).
Island Center also wants to remind friends of the Island Center to attend upcoming functions:
November 24th and 25th. Island Center Voices In Praise Concert - Various Community Choirs from across the island.
December 2nd. Synchronicity with Bill and Becky Bass - Classical Duo of piano and percussion from New York along with our own Bill and Becky Bass.
December 14th. Ten Sleepless Knights - and 3rd annual Stanley Awards. This year recipients are George "Bagoon" O'Reily and Syvester "Blinky" McIntosh. Quelbe music can't done".
