Hello! My family and I are moving to St. John mid-summer and I was wondering if there are any music schools or individuals that teach guitar? My son is 7 and he is currently taking lessons here on the mainland. He would like to continue lessons. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated! Thank You....

Hello - I will be moving down to the island in October and would be glad to give lessons to your son. Used to teach lessons years ago - I like to keep it fun but also incorporate music theory & ear training as students progress. Feel free to shoot me an email at MattTheRed at gmail dot com

Hi Wisener,
At VI Montessori School & International Academy we have an after school enrichment program that is designed for children to receive private lessons in music, ballet, violin, dance, art and guitar.
Our school relishes on the fact that we heavily promote the arts and most of our students tend to follow that path.
James Anderson our guitar instructor will be starting up again this summer. Although, we are located in Red Hook, St. Thomas we are only 5 min. walking distance from the fairy that goes to/from St. John. If you are interested please give Mr. Anderson a call at 340-775-2637.
