My daugher is just over one year old and a few of them out there don't take kids until age 2. Can anyone recommend a good place for 2 days a week? I have called on two that I got good recommendations on, but they were both full. Any recs/help would be greatly appreciated!

We have been running into the same problem.... We are on a waiting list and 2-3 places. I drove by the mafolie day care the other day, which I had always dismissed from the street with its bad sign and worse location but I saw teachers actually interacting with the kids and it looked very clean and safe in there.

Building Blocks of Love has space open but I would STRONGLY suggest you take a tour first.

Hi,

I sent PM 3 days ago and no response from you yet, incase you didn't see it I want to write here. I can look after babies if you still need someone. I live in St. Croix and available.

I am also interested in finding daycare or babysitting for my two children, ages 1 and 3. Are the daycares you mentioned on STX? We are staying at Colony Cove right now, There seems to be a Head Start really near us, but I haven't seen any other daycares yet.

Thanks for any help,
Alison
