Good day friends,

Please consider joining the St. Croix Environmental Association (SEA) this Saturday, October 20 for a FREE public snorkel clinic at Rainbow Beach

AND

next Friday, October 26 for a FREE bat watch at Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge. Both are great activities for the entire family!

*FREE Public Snorkel Clinic - Saturday, October 20 at Rainbow Beach, Frederiksted*

If you haven't made it to a SEA public snorkel clinic yet, this is your last chance for 2012! Come on out to Rainbow Beach this Saturday, October 20th. Environmental education activities on the beach and snorkeling begin at 10:00 a.m. and finish at 12:00 noon. All abilities welcome; school age to adult. This is a FREE event and open to the public. Lifeguard present. Although not required, RESERVATIONS ARE MUCH APPRECIATED. Please call Lynnea Roberts at 773-1989 for more information and to make your family's reservation.

SEA's public snorkel clinics are sponsored by Reef Jam.

*FREE Bat watch and talk - Friday, October 26 at Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge, Frederiksted*

Guest speaker Jennifer Valiulis will provide information about common bats of the U.S. Virgin Islands and, with a little luck, give us an up close look! Mist nets will be set up in hopes of capturing one or more of St. Croix's several bat species. Bring the whole family for this FREE pre-Halloween learning experience. 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Donations appreciated. Call SEA for details and to register 773-1989.

See you there,
Lynnea
