ARTS ALIVE presents the 28th Annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Festival

November 23rd, 24th & 25th from 10am to 5pm
Tillett Gardens

The Holiday festival is going to be a fun filled weekend with great opportunities to get your holiday shopping started. Come see the work of local artists, listen to the sounds of our wonderful local musicians, see demonstrations first hand and get those kids involved in art – hands on.

Kids will have a chance to create their own artwork in the Kid’s Corner during the show from 12pm to 4pm in the lobby of Pistarckle Theatre. The Kid’s Corner is brought to you by Arts Alive and is sponsored in part by The Traveling Road Show.

Music will start at 12pm and continue throughout the day until 4pm.

The Festival will feature some fantastic creations! Here’s a list of past artists:

Fine artists include: Lucinda O’Connell – Watercolor, Acrylic and Oil Paintings; Jaqueline Cawley – Oil Paintings, Watercolors and Acrylics; Frank & Sherry Sharpe – Pencil, Oils, Plaster; Tillett Gallery – Silk Screen island maps, Larry Industrious – Pencil.

Jewelry makers include: Caribbean Glo – Handmade beaded jewelry, Tiffany Miller – Beaded jewelry and accessories, Betsy Pfordresher-LaPlace – Original sterling silver and gold jewelry, Leah Norton – Wire wrapped jewelry, Lisa Nunes – Handcrafted beaded jewelry, Cindy Born – Gold and Silver Jewelry made from sea glass, beads and gemstones, Staci Morgan – Custom beaded jewelry, Barbara Kruger – Seaglass jewelry.

Clay Artists include: Lynn & Rick Berry - Ridvan Studio, Alison Davis – Alison’s Wonderland, Kimberly Young – ceramist.

Crafts include: Gwen Harley’s Historic dolls; Jason Budsan - Caribbean Herbals Candles & Soaps; Mary Mercer – Handmade soaps and lotions; Cheryl’s Taste of Paradise – Homemade Sauces; Barbara Mark – Afro centric creations; Dorothy Mercer – Handcrafted purses and guava berry liqueur, Cindy Male – Fiber Art; Tulip Fleming - plants and calabash crafts; Merry Phillips – Handmade Christmas ornaments; Linda Wilcox – Scented and beaded ornaments; DeLois Abraham – Handcrafted placemats; Ashley Willis – Interactive sand art; Sea Scapes – Photography and custom photo gifts.

Food includes: Jack’s Restaurant – The best wings on St Thomas, Harriett Mercer – local foods, Treasures of Zion – Vegetarian Food & all natural body products.
